Located just 5 hours drive from Santa Cruz is the wildlife watching paradise of Jaguarland. This incredible property is a mix of agricultural land as well as rivers, tropical forest and Pampas. As most of the region has been coverved to soya this reserve is a refuge to an incredible amount of species , most notably the Jaguar.
Since our first visit in July, we have now returned 6 times and have a 100 percent success rate for seeing Jaguars. In addition we also have the same with Ocelots, Marsh Deer and Pink Dolphins. Other species frequently seen include Sloth, Tapirs, Armadillos, Coatis, Macaws, Puma, Capybara, Giant Anteaters, Toucans , Peccaries , Neotropical Otters and more.
