Red Fronted Macaw Reserve

No serious birder or nature photographer visiting Bolivia should miss the opportunity to visit this birding paradise, whats more proceeds of these trips aid considerably towards saving the endemic and endangered Red Fronted Macaw from extinction. In addition to having the best Red Fronted Macaw viewing in the world you can also see up to 130 different species which include the Andean Condor, Blue Fronted Parrot , Peregrine Falcon,Miltred Parakeet, Bolivian Cliff Parakeet and more.

The Red Fronted Macaw lodge is located in a small town called Perrereta and is a 7 or 8 hour drive from Santa Cruz Bolivia, the roads often are not paved however the scenery is spectacular.
